4:30 P.M.

Where:  Holiday Inn

(Exit 46N off the L.I. Expressway or Exit 38 off the Northern State Parkway)

This CAS workshop will focus on the techniques and strategies that administrators can use to help teachers extend and refine their teaching and assessment practices as part of the observation and supervision process. The Framework for Teaching rubric by Charlotte Danielson will be the primary rubric used in the workshop, but reference will be made to other approved NYS rubrics as well. Participants will come away with specific strategies for the pre and post conference discussions as well as the process for writing up the observation for the improvement of practice.
