DESCRIPTION:We hope this letter finds you well and that you enjoyed the summer. \n  \nI want to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for your dedication and commitment to serving as Unit President. Your leadership is vital to protecting the well-being of your members and advocating for their rights. \n  \nCAS understands the challenges and responsibilities of being Unit President\, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you in every way possible. CAS is fully committed to providing all our units with the resources\, guidance\, and assistance that they need to succeed\, and we are ready to stand by you in your leadership journey. \n  \nWe know your time is precious. Towards that end\, we are pleased to announce a brief (30-45 minutes) but informative Union Leadership Seminar on Zoom scheduled for Thursday\, September 18\, 2025\, at 4:00 p.m.   \n  \nThis seminar is designed specifically for all Unit Presidents and Executive Board members. We will cover a wide range of topics\, including but not limited to: \n· Negotiation strategies and tactics \n· Election processes and unit bylaws \n· Effective communication and internal conflict resolution \n· Building and maintaining strong member relationships \n· Safeguarding and protecting union finances and limiting tax exposure \n  \nThis seminar will provide valuable insights and tools to strengthen your leadership abilities and better serve your members.
