SUMMARY:CTLE Workshop: Safe Space Forum for Probationary Administrators Tuesday\, October 22nd at 4:30 P.M with Dr. Mike Fama
DESCRIPTION:To help probationary administrators navigate sometimes unchartered waters\, CAS has developed a series of three (3) workshops for probationary administrators focusing on topics generated by the participants that will explore the importance of educational leadership\, common workplace concerns\, best practices\, personal and professional growth\, and collaboration\, all anchored in the Professional Standards of Educational Leaders (PSEL). These confidential workshops will allow participants to work with a seasoned mentor and network with colleagues in similar positions across Long Island. Participants will indicate the topics they would like to discuss and submit questions about these topics when registering. Participants are welcome to attend some or all sessions. \nThe workshops will be facilitated by Dr. Michael Fama\, longtime principal of the John F. Kennedy Middle School in Comsewogue. Mike has also been a mathematics and business teacher in the East Meadow School District and an Assistant Principal at Lindenhurst Middle School. He was instrumental in guiding JFK Middle School through the recent pandemic and achieving Middle States Accreditation. In addition to teaching and motivating future school leaders at St. Joseph’s University in Patchogue\, he is currently visiting schools seeking accreditation throughout the northeast as a Volunteer Team Member for the Middle States Association. \nThis workshop is at no cost to all CAS administrators. CAS is a certified NYSED Continuing Teacher Leader Education (CTLE) sponsor\, and successful participants will earn one (1) hour of CTLE professional development credit applicable toward the hours needed for continuing certification for each session. Upcoming CAS CTLE Workshops are scheduled throughout the school year and communicated through email and the www.casliny.com website. \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER

SUMMARY:CTLE Workshop: Safe Space Forum for Probationary Administrators Tuesday\, December 10th at 4:00 P.M with Dr.
