SUMMARY:New and Probationary Administrators/Legal Workshop - Zoom
DESCRIPTION:The “New & Probationary Administrators CTLE Workshop” on Zoom will be presented by CAS Attorneys Brad Stuhler and Paul Pagano. The first part of the workshop will delve into the legal aspects of administrative tenure\, seniority\, and frequent legal concerns confronting new and probationary administrators.  \n\n   \nThe second part of the workshop will focus on school safety\, student discipline\, and some common workplace issues facing new administrators. Brad and Paul will provide practical guidance\, best practices\, and common-sense strategies for success through scenarios involving students\, staff\, and parents based on their recent experiences.  \n   \nCAS is a certified NYSED Continuing Teacher Leader Education (CTLE) sponsor. Successful participants will earn two (2) hours of CTLE professional development credit applicable toward the hours needed for continuing certification.  \n   \nAdditional CAS CTLE Workshops are scheduled throughout the school year and communicated through email and the www.casliny.com website.  \n   \nThis workshop is at no cost for all CAS administrators.  All new and probationary administrators are strongly encouraged to attend this workshop.  If you would like to attend\, please fill out this Google form as soon as possible. \n  \nWe look forward to seeing you!

Previously\, he was the Administrator of Pre-retirement Planning where he organized and implemented the System’s retirement planning seminar program\, which is a model for other systems throughout the country. Also\, previously he was Administrator of the National Pension Education Association and is a nationally known presenter on retirement planning issues and public employees’ programs. \nWe have received tremendous positive feedback from CAS members who have attended our previous Financial Literacy Workshops.
