Dr. LaQuita Outlaw awarded the 2021 Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association Nassau and Suffolk Region Administrator of the Year
The Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association (ESSAA) recently honored Dr. LaQuita Outlaw, longtime principal of Bay Shore Middle as the Empire State Supervisors and Administrators Association (ESSAA) Nassau and Suffolk Region’s 2021 Administrator of the Year at their annual awards ceremony on Friday, May 21, 2021, at 7:00 p.m. Usually, this dinner meeting is held somewhere centrally in New York State, but because of the pandemic was held via Zoom.
The CAS award selection committee reviewed many experienced and well-qualified candidates but ultimately chose Dr. Outlaw for her untiring efforts on behalf of her students and staff in Bay Shore. The committee also noted her career-long success as an English teacher, assistant principal, and adjunct professor of education at Saint Joseph’s College. In addition, Dr. Outlaw has ably served on the executive boards of the Bay Shore Administrators’ Association and the Council of Administrators. CAS is deeply appreciative of her extraordinary efforts in improving and expanding professional development opportunities for her CAS colleagues on Long Island and her ESSAA colleagues throughout New York State.
All of us in CAS and ESSAA wish Dr. Outlaw continued success!
