School administrators from across Long Island  participated in a practical and sometimes amusing CTLE  professional development program at Hofstra University on May 7, 2019, with Dr. Todd Whitaker entitled “What Great Leaders Do Differently.” The CAS Spring Conference, the fifth in a series CAS Continuing Teacher Leader Education (CTLE) workshops offered this school year, was a resounding success.  Dr. Whitaker explored a wide variety of instructional and management challenges common to all school leaders and provided meaningful and easily replicated strategies to take back to work and implement immediately.
Special thanks to Dr. LaQuita Outlaw, our Director of Professional Development, John Nocero, our Executive Vice President, our Office Manager, Demetria Marino, and the entire CAS Executive Board for working together over the past few months putting the event together. It was truly a team effort that would not have been successful without everyone pitching in!
