I want to take this opportunity to express my sincere appreciation for your dedication and commitment to serving as Unit President. Your leadership is vital to protecting the well-being of your members and advocating for their rights.

CAS understands the challenges and responsibilities of being Unit President, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you in every way possible. We know your time is precious. Towards that end, we are pleased to announce a brief (30-45 minutes) but informative Union Leadership Seminar on Zoom scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 4:00 p.m.  

This seminar is designed specifically for all Unit Presidents and Executive Board members. We will cover a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:

· Negotiation strategies and tactics

· Election processes and unit bylaws

· Effective communication and internal conflict resolution

· Building and maintaining strong member relationships

· Safeguarding and protecting union finances and limiting tax exposure

This seminar will provide valuable insights and tools to strengthen your leadership abilities and better serve your members.
