Suppose you are navigating the financing process for your child’s college tuition. In that case, you may be interested in attending our CAS FAFSA Zoom Workshop on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. with Gene Rogers, Senior Financial Aid Counselor at Molloy University, and NYSFAAA State Outreach Co-Chair. His presentation will include steps to apply for financial aid (FAFSA) and what you may need to know regarding college and university deadlines.

Gene has spent the last 20-plus years working in the college financial aid area, spending much of that time at colleges on Long Island. He is well versed in the college aid programs that directly affect students and their families, including need-based grant programs, federal grant programs, and state and various loan programs. He has been at Molloy since 2006 and is the Long Island representative for the New York State Association for Financial Aid Administrators (NYSFAAA). Over the years, he has advocated for State and Federal College aid programs with local legislators from Albany and Washington, DC.
